Job Description
The Business Development Representative is responsible for gaining new accounts, increasing sales in current accounts, and overall account management functions for either territory or channel of business.
Solicits new business and develop new accounts.
Analyzes new business opportunities.
Coordinates promotions and ad activities.
Delivers annual territory plan for sales and gross margin.
Attends trade shows/special events.
Ensures coordination with A/R.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Two or four year college degree preferred.
A minimum of 1 year sales experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Skill in organization, time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
Strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions and disciplines.

Inside Sales Representative Position
Serves Customers by identifying their needs; engineering adaptations of products, equipment and services.
Duties:
* Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
* Provides product, service or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests. Responsible for developing and growing the industrial electric heating market through new client contact.
* Establishes new accounts and service accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule.
* Prepare cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, purchasers and other professional and technical personnel.
* Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies or service applications in customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes or use of materials or services.
* Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements
* Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff; costing engineering changes
* Develops customer's staff by providing technical information and training.
* Complies with federal, provincial and local legal requirements by advising customer on product, service or equipment adherence to requirements; advising customer on needed actions.
* Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing sales information and engineering and application needs.
* Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; proving information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and course of action; implementing directives.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
