Solution
Wattco supplied 2 horizontal style skid mounted inline heaters fully equipped with digital controller failsafe systems. High quality stainless steel 316 was used for the framework and all major parts to withstand corrosion. The skid itself was prepped for mobility so relocation was not an issue. The flanged heaters were rated at 5000 psi and required special welding techniques to ensure even the stringiest quality assurance tests. Thermocouples were placed at major intersections of the vessel to ensure proper temperature targets were reached. Flanges (2000#) were used at the inlet and outlets for easy installation. A high grade of insulation was used to prevent heat loss that surrounded the vessel and protected it from weather. A Nema 4 terminal housing was also used to protect the terminals from corrosion over a long period of time. The purpose of the system was to reheat hydraulic oil in a closed loop system.
Benefits
A safe heating system was provided that had mobility and easy access for temperature controllers.
Weather proof housing and high quality material was used to prevent corrosion
A 5 year extended warranty was also offered with immediate industrial heater replacement within 72 hours.
